Savings Tracker Spreadsheet | Excel & Google Sheets Savings Goals Planner | 15 Goals, Contribution Log, Clean + Demo
Stop losing track of what you're actually saving for.
A goal without a number is just a wish. The Made by Motive Savings Tracker turns "I should save more" into fifteen real, trackable goals — each with its own target, saved amount, remaining balance, monthly plan and estimated finish date. Log a contribution once, and watch your progress update everywhere: the goal cards, the global KPI strip, your phone, even a printable page. This is what actually saving — not just intending to save — looks like.

What the tracker shows
- Chase up to 15 savings goals at once, each with its own target, planned monthly contribution and starting saved amount.
- Never lose track of a contribution — a dated ledger for up to 100 entries, each with goal, amount and optional note.
- Watch every goal move the moment you log a contribution: automatic saved, remaining and progress, plus overfunded amount when you beat a goal.
- Know exactly when you'll hit each goal — months left and an estimated finish date, always current.
- See the whole picture in five numbers: total targets, total saved, total remaining, overall progress and total planned monthly saving.
- A true overall progress score — weighted by goal size, never a misleading average of percentages.
- Always know where you stand: a plain-language status per goal — Not Set, Complete the Blue Cells, Ready to Start, In Progress, Add a Monthly Plan, or Goal Funded.
- Feel the progress, not just see it — circular visuals with centered percentages for every goal.
- Mobile summary and one-page print/PDF plan for a check-in anywhere.
The goals you can see, you actually reach.
How it works
- Choose your currency, plan start month and optional overall monthly savings target.
- Name up to 15 goals and enter each target amount, planned monthly contribution and starting saved amount in the blue cells.
- Log each contribution — date, goal, amount — in the ledger as it happens.
- Check live progress, status and estimated finish date on the goal cards, mobile summary or print plan.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need Excel?
No. The package includes verified native Google Sheets CLEAN and DEMO "Make a copy" links. Excel files are also included for the full desktop workbook experience.
Is this automatic bank syncing?
No. You privately enter goal names, targets, monthly plans and contributions. The saved amount, remaining balance, progress and finish estimate then update automatically.
Can I track more than one goal at a time?
Yes. Set up to 15 goals at once, each with its own target, monthly plan and progress card, alongside one shared contribution log and a global KPI strip.
Can I edit formulas?
Buyer input cells are editable. Formula and technical cells are protected to prevent accidental damage.
Does this guarantee I'll reach my goals?
No. It is an educational planning tool. Your actual progress depends on the contributions you make and does not include interest, investment returns, taxes or fees unless you add them manually.
